Two weeks from now my flight will be landing in Munich, Germany, where I will spend several days before heading North to Berlin for the Quarter. I will be staying in Munich for several days with friends before heading to Losenstein, Austria to hang out with my friend Michael for a night. After my visit to Austria, my plans are open; I may return to Munich or just head straight to Berlin.
I am brushing up on my German using software programs, Podcasts and my old German textbooks. I plan to continue studying German during my stay in Berlin, where I will have opportunities to use the language on a daily basis. I believe an understanding of the native language will allow me to better connect with Germans in Berlin.
